This mini pop-up featured 6 AAPI small businesses, non-profit organization Asian Mental Health Project to support who also led a free Breathing & Journaling workshop, live reading with children’s book author Alice Trinh, live music by Jovi and of course delicious beverages and more AAPI small businesses to support from Yoboseyo! Superette.

This mini pop-up featured 12 AAPI small businesses, non-profit organization Asian Mental Health Project to support, movement community Outdoor Asian LA, tunes + grooves by That Fly Pinay and of course delicious food + beverages by All Good Things.

KIBŌ NOBORI in Little Tokyo, May 2022

Thank you for joining us for joining us in Little Tokyo at Terasaki Budokan for the first annual KIBŌ NOBORI Children’s Day Festival! We were able to celebrate Kodomo No Hi, AAPI Heritage Month, and our 1 year anniversary. We were able to highlight 16 AAPI small businesses, non-profit organization Terasaki Budokan to support, Be Bright Coffee + Bento Bakehouse for bevs + bites, movement resource community Movement Society, DIY screen printing workshop by Good Screenprinters, and a live book reading from author Karen Chan of Gloo Books. We are so grateful to have been a partner in the event alongside Faith-Ann Kiwa Young, Terasaki Budokan, and Savoir Agency.
